Boise has all four seasons. The weather is most mild during the months of May, June and September. December and January are the city’s coldest months. As a high desert climate, nights in Boise cool quickly and days heat up quickly as well. Summers tend to be hot, and Boise has more than 200 days of sun every year. The average high in July is about 90 degrees. The average low in January dips to around 24 degrees.
Throughout the winter, the surrounding foothills are often snowcapped, while snow accumulation in the city tends to melt quicker due to milder temperatures. With easy access to snow-covered mountains but mild conditions in the valley, Boise offers a best-of-both-worlds winter experience.
Boise has over 1600 walkable hotel rooms in downtown Boise all located within close proximity to the Boise Centre. In addition, we have 6,000+ hotel rooms in the Boise area.

Boise is a convenient destination from almost anywhere via every major airline. Once you’re here, the airport is only 10 minutes from the city center. Downtown Boise is very walkable so getting from the convention center to your hotel to a restaurant is a breeze. Attendees can also use Uber, Lyft, Lime scooters and our local bus system to get around. Meeting planners can arrange transportation with one of our trusted motorcoach, shuttle or car services.
Boise can accommodate groups of 10 – 1,600 depending on the specific space needs. Ideal meetings for the Boise Centre range from 300-800 attendees with 200-500 peak room nights.
Yes, the Boise Centre has 86,000 sq feet of meeting space and is located in the heart of downtown Boise.
