1. Top Golf

Top Golf in Boise is a fun and unique group activity for team building or off-site events. At this high-tech driving range, groups can rent bays to enjoy friendly competition as they hit microchipped golf balls out into the wide-open space and aim for bullseyes. Food and drinks are available on-site and event planners are available to assist with catering and scoring. 3. Paella Cooking Class At The Basque Market

Owners Tara and Tony are no strangers to feeding a big crowd with their enormous pan of paella. Whether it’s the Basque Wine Fest or just a Friday afternoon, their famous paella attracts everyone from the Treasure Valley. This class will teach you how to make their famous paella, while sipping on wine and enjoying some of the tapas they have to offer. 4. Paddleboarding at Quinn’s Pond

Looking for an outdoor adventure without having to go far from downtown Boise? Then this activity might be the perfect one for you. Situated adjacent to Boise River, Quinn’s pond is just minutes from downtown and is a great place to escape to for all of your paddle boarding and kayaking fun. Idaho River Sports has a variety of classes and offerings, depending on your group size and interests.

5. Rafting the Payette River

The Long family, owners of Cascade Raft and Kayak, are no strangers to fun. Their third- generation family business offers a variety of ways your team can challenge themselves in the great outdoors – everything from a half day raft trip to a full day raft trip to a challenging ropes and zipline course that was recently constructed. Cascade Raft offers a welcoming environment alive with the anticipation of river adventures. Enjoy views of the Main Payette from their riverside decks and open patios or relax on the expanse of lush green lawn. Their full-service operation includes a cafe and gift shop, state-of-the-art photography department, changing rooms, restrooms and lockers, riverside beach and private parking.

6. Pedals and Pints

Looking for a fun and interactive way to check out downtown Boise? Hop on a 15-seat bike! Riders pedal the bike around town, stopping at various downtown pubs, breweries and restaurants in Boise to sample local suds, craft brews, live music, and fun events happening.

7. Season and Taste Cooking Classes

A fun way to interact with a small group while cooking up something delicious and even taking home a new skill. 8. Winery Tours

Did you know that Idaho boasts over 60 wineries? In fact, there are 3 American Viticultural Areas in Idaho alone! One of those – the Snake River Valley AVA – is just 30 miles outside of Boise. Not only that, but we also have an urban wine trail just minutes from downtown Boise. A wine tour is a perfect half-day or full-day activity for small to medium group sizes. A perfect way to show off one of Idaho’s gems while having a fun and engaging day with your organization. Boise is lucky enough to have a few wine tour companies to choose from to accommodate your group – Snake River Valley Wine Tours, Sunshine Wine Tours, and Winery Seekers.

9. Escape Room

What better way to bond with a team than to be locked in a room with a common goal of escaping? Boise has many great escape rooms that have a variety of themes, stories, and features.

10. Birds of Prey

The Peregrine Fund has one simple mission: to conserve birds of prey worldwide. The World Center for Birds of Prey is a great place to learn all about how the Peregrine Fund is conserving raptors around the world. Meet live birds of prey up close, see California Condors, and more! A great place to learn more about the conservation efforts happening not only in Boise, but all around the world. This is truly a Boise gem and must-see!

11. Bogus Basin Recreational Area

Just about 30 minutes from downtown Boise, Bogus Basin offers year-round fun. In the Winter, hit the slopes for skiing and snowboarding, the tubing hill for some downhill thrill, or the Nordic trails for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. In the summer, they have a variety of activities including hiking, mountain biking, scenic chairlift rides, and an exhilarating mountain coaster. They also offer partial rentals of their lodges – perfect for a group gathering after some fun on the mountain!

12. Group Hikes

One of the biggest attractions of Boise is the close proximity to the Boise Foothills. With hundreds of miles of trails right outside our back door, hiking with a group is a great activity to get outdoors and see some scenic views of Boise and the surrounding areas.

15. Urban Wine Tour

Boise boasts many urban wineries just minutes away from downtown. Telaya Wine Co, situated right on the Greenbelt, offers group tours of their production space followed by a group wine tasting in their beautiful tasting room. If you’re looking for a more in-depth wine tasting or food pairing class, look no further! Local company – House of Wine – provides private group classes that can be catered to the topic of your choosing. These classes are hands-on, interactive classes that will teach you more about the science of wine tasting, while also showcasing some local wines.

16. Idaho Botanical Garden

Nestled against the Boise foothills, the Idaho Botanical Garden covers roughly 15 acres that was once the Idaho Penitentiary. The seven main gardens feature a variety of native and adapted plants complemented by smaller collections set amongst art, water features and other historical landmarks.

17. Fly Fishing

We’re lucky enough to have the Boise River flowing right through town, as well as the Payette River situated not too far from downtown Boise – both of which have great fly fishing opportunities. The Idaho Angler has been teaching fly fishing and related classes for 24 years. Their instructors are experts in their field, and will share their knowledge with your team. They welcome private groups or preformed groups who want to schedule their own classes, and are happy to set up individual private instruction.

19. Tour the City

Boise is a beautiful city with great history, public art, and architecture. A fun and easy option for a team activity is to book one of the trolly or walkable tours that are offered. The tours include information like Boise’s downtown’s evolution from gold rush boomtown, through urban renewal decline, and 21st century revitalization and stories behind some of the biggest attractions – Old Idaho Pen, the Capitol, etc.
