POWDER TO
THE PEOPLE.
Our city welcomes snow lovers from across the country every year. In Boise, you can be eating at a gourmet restaurant or sitting in your hotel’s hot tub, then be skiing on the mountain in less than an hour. The average snowfall in Boise is 18 inches, but our foothills and mountains get much more than that. Winters in the city can be snowy, but it’s not as cold as you might expect. Either way, pack warm and check the weather forecast before you head our way.
Ski Bogus Basin
Bogus literally has something for everyone, all year long, from skiing to summer tubing. Whether you want an adrenaline-pumping afternoon or leisurely afternoon in the lodge, Bogus has what you’re looking for. So come on up for some fresh powder
Tube, Ski or Snowboard at Eagle Island State Park
Eagle Island’s Gateway Parks is one of the best tubing parks in Idaho. It’s the perfect place to spend a snowy day in the Boise area. They also have a ski and snowboard hill, which, along with the tubing hill, is open every day of the week and not just weekends or holidays.
