Wineries
THE SECRET’S OUT
OF THE BOTTLE.
It started with a volcano. A few million years later, the fertile volcanic soil and climate became the perfect place for grapes to grow and become award-winning wines. Idaho is home to more than 65 wineries, and nearly 20 wineries and over 1,300 acres of vineyards can be found in the Boise area. Sipping your way around the wineries, tasting rooms and vineyards around Boise might have you associating Boise with wine just as much as potatoes!
Boise Wineries and Tasting Rooms
Visit one of the many locally owned and operated wineries of Boise. Sip your way through locally-made wines, many of which come from the Sunnyslope Region in Caldwell, Idaho. Most of these establishments are close together, making them accessible by walking or biking via the Greenbelt, a main artery for foot and bike traffic that runs through the city. Check out Bodovino wine bar or Scoria tasting room.

Garden City Wineries and Tasting Rooms
Sip your way around Garden City at one of the many wineries and tasting rooms. Here you can witness the fruits of their labor firsthand. You’ll find knowledgeable servers eager to share the story of their wines. The best part? Many of these locations are found on or near the Boise Greenbelt, just a short, beautiful bike ride away during the warmer months. Stop by Cinder’s tasting room, Telaya Wine Co., or Split Rail Winery.
Sunnyslope Vineyards
Winemaking is all about being at the right place at the right time. The vineyards of Sunnyslope share a common parallel on the globe with many of the renowned wineries and vineyards of Europe. Add high desert weather to “punish” the grapes with just enough and fertile, volcanic soil, and you have the perfect spot for a unique enclave of more than 17 family-owned wineries and vineyards. Don’t miss Koenig Vineyards, Ste. Chapelle or Fujishin Family Cellars.
Gold Level
Telaya Wine Co.
Telaya’s tasting room is located right on the Boise Greenbelt, just minutes from downtown and few feet from the Boise River. Guests can enjoy flights, glasses and bottles of our award winning wine while overlooking the scenic river.
The tasting room is open daily at noon with light snack options and a wide variety of local non-wine beverages. Come enjoy the patio and watch the river go by while sipping some Idaho wines.
