ROSE AWARDS RECOGNITION OF
SERVICE EXCELLENCE

Visit Boise has always believed in recognizing exceptional service. That’s why we participate in the Recognition of Service Excellence (“ROSE”) Award Celebration.

The ROSE Awards honor exceptional employees in the tourism and hospitality industry who enhance the visitor experience. The awards cover several categories and are presented to employees who provide exemplary service.

The ROSE Awards is an opportunity for us to celebrate the people in our hospitality industry who go above and beyond to create memorable experiences for our visitors and guests.

Important information

Who is eligible?

Non-managerial employees (with exception of Manager of the Year and Spirit of Hospitality nominations) in the hotel, restaurant, bar, retail, transportation, attractions, event/meeting planning, tourism or hospitality-related fields, including the public sector are eligible to be nominated for a ROSE Award. There will be a Manager of the Year and an overall Spirit of Hospitality Award that managers or owners may be eligible for. Employees should have direct contact with, or provide support to, visitors and customers, and distinguish themselves by promoting Boise and surrounding areas through exemplary service and customer satisfaction.

Award recipients

A Nomination Committee comprised of hospitality and business professionals will confidentially review all nominations and select up to three (3) finalists in each of the nine (9) main award categories which include:

  • – Accommodations/ Lodging
  • – Dining/ Caterers
  • – Bar/ Tasting Room
  • – Behind the Scenes
  • – Retail
  • – Volunteer
  • – Attractions
  • – Transportation
  • – Manager of the Year

In addition to the nine main awards, there will be one overall Spirit of Hospitality ROSE Award recipient.

Judging and voting will take place in March 2023.  The finalists in each category will all be honored along with announcing the overall winners in each category at the ROSE Awards on April 5, 2023 at Morrison Center.
