Snow Much Fun: Pass Options, Rentals and Lessons at Bogus Basin

When you want to ski, snowboard, snowshoe or tube, Bogus Basin has everything you need. This year-round playground is a mere 16 miles from Boise and gets over roughly 200 inches of snow a season. You can spend a half day or full day shredding the slopes or just come up in the evening for a twilight session. Ski season generally runs from December to April.

In all, Bogus has over 2,600 acres of skiable terrain, 88 named runs, 10 lifts (including 4-high speed quads), and 360-degree mountain access. Give yourself as much time as possible to explore all that Bogus has to offer. Also, keep in mind that Bogus Basin is a nonprofit mountain recreation area. That means 100% of profits go back into equipment, facilities, education, outreach and more. Your lift tickets translate into real good for the mountain and the community.
