We Dare You

WE DARE YOU
TO RUN OUT OF
THINGS TO DO.

What can you do in a single day in Boise? We’re glad you asked. Whether you’re into spending time outdoors or prefer a downtown vibe, here you can do both from sunup to sundown.

Welcome to a golfer’s paradise

Mountain backdrops. Rivers. Mule deer. Over 200 days of sun each year. What’s not to love about golfing in Boise? Grab your clubs and head to Quail Hollow or one of our other 14, 18-hole layouts, all within an hour of downtown.

We dare you to take on the intimidating par 5, 16th hole at Quail Hollow Golf Course.

Sip your way through award-winning wineries

Come raise a glass at any of our locally owned wineries, tasting rooms and vineyards. Many wineries, like Telaya, and other tasting rooms are accessible by biking or walking via a paved trail called the Greenbelt that runs through the heart of the city.

We dare you to bike to four different wineries or tasting rooms along Boise’s urban wine trail.

Just add water

Get drenched in fun at the 22-acre Quinn’s Pond or any of Boise’s other water attractions, including two state parks and a floatable river. Paddleboard, raft and kayak rentals are available at most locations.

We dare you to surf the man-made wave at the whitewater park near Quinn’s Pond.

Get lost in James-Beard-winning sauce

Whatever restaurant style you like, from casual to formal, you’ll find in Boise. KIN, Boise’s James Beard award-winning restaurant, offers a five-course food and beverage experience fused together through storytelling.

We dare you to grab a drink at Ampersand, known as the highest bar in Idaho. To find this speakeasy, go to KIN’s ART HAUS cocktail bar and request an “elevated” drink.
