BOISE, Idaho (December 10, 2025) — Visit Boise today announced its 2026 board of directors and new board leadership. Sean Briggs, Deputy Director of Parking & Facilities with the Boise Airport, will serve as Board Chair. Briggs has been with the airport since 2014, with responsibilities ranging from communications, marketing, and air service management to overseeing the airport’s parking, custodial, and facility maintenance departments.

Vicki Carley, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Block 22 Hotels, will serve as Chair-elect and Sophie Sestero, Lunation Communications, will serve as Treasurer. Angela Taylor, Dignitas Agency and Indulge Boise, is Immediate Past-Chair. Board members serve a three-year term with the opportunity to renew for an additional term.

New directors joining the board in 2026 include:

Anita Overall

Global Sales Executive with Delta Airlines

Overall joined Delta in 2009 and represents the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West region. She has helped shape and expand strategic travel partnerships, particularly in Boise’s rapidly growing tech and semiconductor sectors. She also works closely with regional industry leaders and economic organizations to strengthen connectivity, support business travel, and elevate Boise’s role as a gateway to global markets.

Jussi Santa

General Manager of Hotel Renegade

Santa helped open Hotel Renegade in 2024 and counts the experience as the most significant milestone of his career. He was deeply involved from the earliest stages—collaborating with design, architecture, construction and operations to bring experiences to life that reflect the spirit of the city, while honoring history.

Shaunalee Shipman

Director of Marketing Communications at the Idaho Botanical Garden

Shipman leads initiatives to enhance brand awareness, foster community engagement, and position the Garden as a key cultural and tourism destination. She previously served on the board of directors for Boise Contemporary Theater and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

“We are thrilled to have such strong industry leaders join the board,” said Carrie Hughes, executive director of Visit Boise. “Tourism is the third largest industry in Idaho and provides great economic value to the state. I’m confident our board will help guide Boise as it continues to gain recognition and grow as a major travel destination.”
