Bogus Basin Upgrades Offer More Family-Friendly Winter Fun
Bogus Basin, Boise’s hometown mountain recreation resort, is open for the 2024/25 season with enhancements that create a more welcoming atmosphere for families and beginners. Expanded terrain offers new trails for every skill level and new four-person chairlifts double uphill capacity and decrease wait times. Lift enhancements also include mountain-wide RFID technology for quicker hands-free access, greater snowmaking capabilities, and improved lighting. A newly expanded, ultra-wide Coach’s Corner run is now three times longer, ideal for lessons and novice skiers. Other upgrades include improved flooring in Simplot Lodge for better durability and comfort and new kids’ and Nordic rental skis.
Looking for even more winter activities? Bogus Basin also boasts Nordic skiing, fat tire biking, snowshoeing, a free terrain park, and a conveyor-assisted tubing hill. Rent select equipment on site or bring your own for a day of fun!
