¡Fiesta! Celebrating Idaho’s Hispanic Heritage
Each year, communities gather to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, observed September 15 to October 15. Join us at the Idaho State Museum on Saturday, September 21st, from 10AM-5PM, as we celebrate Idaho’s Hispanic heritage and diverse cultures with music, dancing, food, and activities. Admission is free!
¡Fiesta! will feature several hands-on crafts, a vendor and resource fair, and a special pop-up exhibit in the Canyon Gallery highlighting the history of traditional folklorico dancing in Latin America and here in the Gem State. Performances include Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo, Mariachi Tleyotltzin, and Nueva Generación 2000.
We are proud to partner with the Idaho Hispanic Foundation, Idaho Latino Scholarship Foundation, and Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo to help produce this event. Thank you to our sponsors Idaho Power, St. Luke’s, and El Centro.
