Fall Flights
Fall Flights are back at the World Center for Birds of Prey with shows running from September 5 to October 31 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 11 am. Reservation Only
Watch summer turn to fall as avian ambassadors swoop and soar overhead in the amphitheater set in the sagebrush steppe. Each 45-minute flight demonstration is expertly narrated and explores raptor biology and conservation through 55 years of strategic impact with The Peregrine Fund. Celebrate global efforts to cultivate a raptor-friendly world as you witness the flights of owls, falcons, hawks, and vultures!
“Come experience an up-close encounter with some of the most charismatic animals on earth! This event has become an Idaho tradition, and we’re looking forward to connecting everyone to the wonders of raptors in flight,” said Tate Mason, Director of the World Center for Birds of Prey.
The avian ambassador lineup for this year’s shows will be:
- Oliver the Verreaux’s Eagle-owl
- Rosa the Aplomado Falcon
- Farah the Ferruginous Hawk
- Griffin the Swainson’s Hawk
- Lucy the Turkey Vulture
- Makeda the Lanner Falcon/Murphy the Peregrine Falcon (alternating shows)
