Fall into Fun at Local Festivals
Boise’s fall social calendar is packed with everything to get you into the “spirit” of the season (pun intended). Here are a few harvest and holiday-inspired events we recommend:
Idaho Cider Fest (Oct. 5) –Head to Bannock Street between 8th and 9th to try 25 ciders from 13 cideries representing five states.
There will be games, local vendors, food options and pour tokens for $3 each.
Boo at the Zoo (Oct. 26-27) – Find trick or treat candy stations, costume contests for all ages, vendors, photo ops, face painting, special Halloween themed treats for the zoo animals, and more.
Harvest Days at the Idaho Botanical Garden (Oct. 5-26) – This month-long celebration offers a variety of themed experiences and culturally enriching events, along with the popular annual Scarecrow Stroll.
JUMP or Treat (Oct. 26) – This free community event offers treats, treasures and spooky delights! Put on your costume, grab your trick-or-treat bag and have a ghostly good time.
Savor New Flavors at Taste of Downtown presented by Downtown Boise Association
Calling all food lovers! Between October 18-27, come experience the local ingredients and purveyors that make our Boise food and beverage scene fresh and exciting.
Taste of Downtown presented by Downtown Boise Association is the perfect opportunity to try delicious creations from the city’s talented local chefs. During the event, enjoy $12 specials, social hour events and prix-fixe menus from nearly 50 fantastic downtown establishments. Boise’s dining scene is constantly evolving, and you’ll be sure to discover some new culinary favorites.
