“Shopping at West Elm in Boise was a different experience that our experience in Portland. Sales reps were impersonal and cold. Surprising to us. The delivery was a disappointing experience as well. Waited 2 months for our table only to have the truck “break down” and unable to deliver that day. For the delivery charge they apply, they should hire a more professional service than Ryder. Ryder has bad reviews online so I’m not sure why West Elm uses them? If I had it to do over again, I wouldn’t shop at West Elm in Boise.“

“Great customer service from Lauren Lienhard! She helped us look at some options for couches and a bedroom set. We just ordered today so I don't have the pieces yet, but I was very thankful to have her helping us. 1/29/22 update: We received all of our pieces and they look great!“

“Please stay away!!! We ordered our dining table in May and finally got a call that the table is ready to be delivered about 4 weeks ago . The delivery company is absolutely absurd!!!! We had multiple no call no show . It’s been 3 weeks and not even a single call from them. We tried calling them and absolutely no luck. So we contacted WE and they have no idea whats our ETA is just keep blaming the delivery company that they’re so behind . So I asked to refund my $ back and they keep asking to give them another chance but no results until this day. We’re very disappointed with West Elm . No more business period.“

“Not a one star for the location, more one star for West Elm as a whole (or the parent company who owns them, I think it's Pottery Barn?). Don't order your furniture with them, you'll never see it. My husband and I ordered brand new furniture for our new house back in the beginning of June. They said it would be delayed until mid July, worst case beginning of August. It's now the beginning of September and we still haven't gotten our furniture. Oh, and they've updated the delivery date to mid December without contacting us. We're cancelling our order, getting a refund, and are now having to go to a separate furniture store so we can finally furnish the rest of our house. Completely unacceptable! I get the pandemic slowed things down, but we've ordered other pieces from other companies and they managed to get it to us within the originally stated delivery date (mid July). Looking through reviews, it looks like we aren't the only people experiencing this. I have other friends who are in the process of relocating, and they like the look of your furniture. I've told them my experience, and they are now looking elsewhere to fully furnish their homes. Fix your delivery and fulfillment process. You're losing customers!“
