“Let me tell you I am from South Carolina, so I’ve had my fair share of southern food. On top of that my boyfriend is a trained chef.. This was some of the best food we have ever had! We were in and out in 45 minutes. Service was great and food was even better!! The fried chicken was perfect and delicious and the grits were incredibly creamy. If you love pickles I highly recommend the fried pickles for an appetizer. Not to mention it’s so hard to find good sweet tea in the north, but the sweet tea here was perfect!! We will be back!“

“Cute little place if you wanna go out to eat downtown. Our server was really nice and tried to help us out to the best of her ability. Booked a reservation and was sat right away, the unfortunate part was that my friends chose to sit outside on the patio. (Which was decorated elegantly.) it was nice at first but when the sun was setting it was cold and windy and we asked our waitress if we could move inside but due to our mistakes it was an hour wait to get seated inside ): she did try her best and even offered a blanket to us too, which I thought was very sweet. We decided to just get our stuff to go so we can go home and eat where it was warm. Waitress was really nice and understanding too. My only complaint would be to put some sort of heaters outside that way more people can enjoy the patio. But over all good experience and tasty food ???? I’ll be going back !“

“Fantastic food, and great service. Mac-n-cheese chicken and waffles were delicious and I would go there way more frequently! Worth the money and a nice night out!“

“This is my new favorite place in Boise! The Service was top notch. The food amazing, the Cast Iron Pork was fall apart tender, and we managed to sample all the apps everything was a hit, drinks menu was crafted with something for everyone in mind. Definitely a must visit for a fun night downtown. Also, weather permits, dogs allowed on balcony with their own menu.“

“Our first time here. We came for my birthday! I had the fried chicken and it was so good! I have been told to try the shrimp and grits so that's on my to do list for my next visit. We also had the biscuits for a cause with berry compote and butter, a win for my family! I would have given 5 stars but we were sat almost 45 min past our reservation. The hostess let is know which table was supposed to be ours and that they were "pushing them out" for us. But the guests still sat there because no one had approached them. And when they were approached, it was not really assertive. We were about to leave because of the 45 minute wait past our reservation but our server finally spoke up and politely told them that there was another reservation for the table. Our sever was great! She was on top of it! I am looking forward to my next visit. Hopefully there won't be any drama with our reservation with our next visit.“
