“More than a meal, an experience! A friend of mine attended a work dinner and had nothing but great things to say about the food and atmosphere. She definitely did not oversell it. From the starter to the dessert the food was delightful! The Lively not only lived up to my expectations but greatly exceeded them!“

“This was our first visit to The Lively and we were very impressed. We felt very comfortable in the space and enjoyed the music very much. Our food was excellent, but the highlight of the evening was our server, Tim. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and he made the evening a truly memorable event. In fact, all of the staff we came in contact with was very personable and courteous. We will definitely be back and will share our experience with our friends.“

“Went with a party of eight. I asked for my steak to be "as rare as possible" the first time it came it was much more well done than I was expecting. I asked the waitress if I could get a replacement. The second one came and it was more to my liking. All the other food was delicious and arrived in a timely manner. There were a lot of server assistants around and they did a great job clearing our table quickly. The atmosphere is really cool. It feels like walking into someone's home.“

“Been here many times and finally writing a review. Lively is the closest place to NYC fine dining experience right here in Boise. Great food, amazing vibes. Best to make a reservation in advance and get a table in the upstairs dining area. Menu changes pretty regularly so definitely ask servers for recommendations if you need!“

“Phenomenal atmosphere, great service and delicious food. My husband and I will absolutely be back, hungry for more! Jesse was a great server, very attentive to our needs and made wonderful recommendations. We started with the octopus which was decedent and tender. My husband got the duck and I got the pink trout, both of which were rich and filling without being overbearing. We finished with the cheesecake and we’re absolutely happy with all aspects of the evening!“
