“Pretty nice place we went to this last weekend. The drinks were reasonably priced and the food was front smoke and thyme and they are always a great get your grub on. It was pretty lively but on a weekend I am not surprised as we don’t normally go to bars but we were meeting a friend that likes this place.“

“VERDICT: The definitive stop for a chill bar experience. DRINK: Beers are cold and delicious, draught right to the rim of the glass, with a proper head. Their cocktails bring a twist on things, definitely worth a taste. I prefer beers and food, personally. FOOD: Food service comes from Smoke & Thyme. Their food is par excellence. I recommend their wings with a nitro Cali Creamer or a Bavarian pretzel and their IPA (they rotate, but they've been good). I'll do a more in-depth review on Smoke & Thyme in the future.) SERVICE: This place is pretty top-notch. Simple service, and then I'm left alone to enjoy my company or solitude. ATMOSPHERE: There's a pool table that's free. I find the whole experience sublime to eat and drink in peace while playing pool. ALSO NOTE: The last several times I've gone, the patrons have all respected the chill vibe.“

“We randomly stopped here on our way out of the park labor day weekend and ended up having a great time with the bartender exchanging drink recipes and favorites. Nice place. Great whiskey selection and craft cocktail list.“

“I’ve been here a few different times for cocktails & some of their live music nights I gotta say I really do enjoy this place. The aesthetic is great, food is delicious & the service has been top notch!“

“I used to come here quite regularly for a couple years as I thought the drinks were very good, best in Boise. They have bucked the trend of $13-16 drinks and have lowered their prices with the drinks being around $8-11.The drinks are fine, not as innovative and exciting as they once were, probably because of price point. There is definitely a market for this price range and the atmosphere is great, service is fine. I probably won't be back because I'm more interested in getting something amazing and different rather than a 6/10 cocktail. ("Hot Girl Sunday needs a rework, don't recommend) The food is really good though, pool is fun, and the atmosphere is also a vibe. I think this place is a "depends on what's important to you" instead of a blanket recommendation.“
