“Was diagnosed with Plantar Faciitis. Doctor recommended a good walking shoe. After a Google search, I found Shu's shoes. Was pleasantly greated upon entering the store. The shoe technician completed a foot analysis and explained the results clearly to me. He had me try on multiple shoes and walk around the store. The shoe I picked, fits like a glove and extremely comfortable. I highly recommend them!“

“I like to support Shu's because it's local. And if I'm being honest, because I'm set in my ways. For years, I only bought new shoes when I knew Brian was working. He knows my running habits, my pace, and my goals. Then one day, Brian wasn't there. Instead, I was helped Nate. The transaction itself was straightforward and professional. I walked out happy with my new shoes, thinking that was the end of it. But it wasn't. Weeks later, I was running along the Greenbelt when a stranger smiled, waved, and said hi to me by name. It took me nearly two miles to realize it was Nate, my shoe salesman. A couple months after that, I showed up at Timberline for a track workout… and there was Nate again. And again, he remembered me. It doesn't matter if I show up to Robie Creek, Twilight Criterium, the Turkey Trot, or just out for a casual run; Nate is there with a smile, a greeting, and genuine enthusiasm. Somewhere along the way, my shoe purchase turned into a sense of community. So thank you, Brian, for not being at work that day.“

“This store is a gem. There's not many shoe stores left who will help you figure out what type of shoe is best for your needs. They know each brand and what each shoe type is best for. Then they assist with putting on your shoes. This doesn't happen at big box stores. Big box store employees barely know what brands they carry and if they know where they are located in the store that's a great day. I'd definitely recommend this store to anyone I know.“

“This place was great! They are very knowledgeable and understanding, as I am not a pro runner by any means. The atmosphere made me feel comfortable and not judged. They will be where I send people I know needing to be fitted for the right running shoe or sure. Thanks Shu's!“

“I can’t recommend this store enough, Nathaniel was knowledgeable and helpful in finding me the shoe that worked for me. I mentioned a problem I had with boots/shoes I had in the past from my military experience and without mentioning it to me he applied a military discount. I didn’t notice until I was home and looked at the receipt. Thank you for that, and when I am in Boise again I will be back.“
