“I’ll preface this by noting that I’ve been to almost every brewery in the Boise/Treasure Valley area and can confidently say that Kyle, Ruckus’ head brewer, brews some of the best (if not, THE best) beer in the valley (and beyond). From the well-balanced, yet blissfully hop-centric West Coast IPA to the crisp, full-bodied Mexican Lager and delightful Dunkel, the beers are all phenomenal (plus they have wine and cider for the non-beer drinkers). And while the space is smaller than some of the larger breweries in town, it’s warm, inviting, and chances are, you’ll have a great conversation with the regulars and/or the bartender on shift. Bonus, there are plenty of board games + two semi-vintage style arcade games for kids and adults alike! If you’re looking for a great beverage and good times, don’t hesitate to stop by this up-and-coming brewery. (And don’t forget to take a peep at the 20-years of awards hanging behind the taps).“

“Just stopped here driving through Boise. My partner and I have been to Boise a lot and have been to many breweries here. We have high standards and a love for most types of beer. Staff was super nice and encouraged us to try anything. We had the Germans pils, marzen, dunkel, and blonde. All super good! Pils was fuller bodied than I expected but very well balanced. Marzen was so deliciously classic but not too carmelly (perhaps slightly higher abv helped cut through that) dunkel was great and balanced as well. The blonde was a pleasant surprise, I never usually order blondes but it was so drinkable with a hint of citrus. Nice parking, patio, and fun free retro arcade games. Congrats to them on celebrating one year of business, hope there’s many more!“

“Matt who works Wednesday and Friday is amazing with his customer service! Very educated on beer. What I thought I wanted would not have been a good pour. He suggested two other beers after asking me a couple questions,set me up with a taste of each and he was correct! Well done Matt! Thank You for your amazing hospitality on my work trip!“

“Wonderful family owned brewery. Kyle the brewer and owner has a fantastic dunkel and their critical darkness is superb. Matt is a friendly personable beertender. Then there’s the other beertender Kyle #2 what a kind soul. Come for great beer and experience excellent customer service.“
