“I attended a business lunch here and was completely delighted and surprised by the quality (and quantity!) of the food. The Group shared the Pot Roast Nachos--YUM!! and I had their Prime Rib Dip which is one of the best I've ever had! We also sampled the white cheddar tots--addictive:). This should definitely be a place you try out. The location had parking nearby, the staff was helpful and friendly and I felt the prices were reasonable, especially for the quality of the food.“

“Great downtown Boise location. Love the Historical flare from the old Hotel. They brought out a nice big beautiful salad before my meal and everyone else at the table wished they would have ordered one too. We ordered steak, fish and chicken. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Wasn't wild about the Brownie for dessert though. It was also pretty loud due to the bar, not terrible but not my personal preference. Easy parking just outside the building there is a lot.“

“I have been coming here with my friends and family for years and about time to leave the much deserved praise. We came today for lunch and were treated with the same service as a five start experience. After having several disappointing experiences lately we decided to come back to one of my favorites in the valley. - Great atmosphere - Consistently amazing food and changing specials -Great spirits and beer selection - And most of all always attentive staff!!!! Thank you for maintaining the bar for not only a restaurant downtown but in the Treasure Valley.“

“New Year's dinner date! Had the yummiest drinks and food. Best meal in awhile. If you can't make it to the Owyhee, then go to the Owyhee. The waitress actually recommended the top sirloin over the rib eye for my man. He was impressed and rib eye is his favorite. Not a bad price either. Had to let go of reservations at Chandler's because we couldn't make it on time. We didn't get to go into the restaurant, but the bar was just fine. Maybe next time!“

“My overall experience at Owyhee Tavern was great. The staff was really great and the taste of the food was great. I had some of thier oysters in a half shell and they tasted fresh. For me though I would had like to see a little more variety in the menu. Especially in the steak department. But, that's just me. I recommend this restaurant and would be surprised if you were disappointed.“
