“2-28-2022 FYI. This is not an easy hike. I'ts beautiful but in no means an easy beginner hiking trail. If you are not in good shape or have a current lower body injury, please re-think hiking to the top. Views are amazing. Be prepared for very unpredictable strong winds and blowing dirt. Trail is very bumpy and ruff. This was my 1st Idaho hike. (I would rate myself) scale 1-10 Im a solid 5 :) I'm not trying to be negative about my review, just a heads up for beginners and people who are not in very good shape or have a injury. I am 51 and in average shape. It took me 1 hr to climb to the top. Well worth every step. I welcome comments. Positive or negative:) Enjoy-Happy hiking -Jeff“

“If you like the great outdoors this is one of the best trails to hike, bike or run! You have the opportunity to see the wild sunflowers growing in big batches on all sides of the mountain, hawks sorrowing over top of you, kill deer birds flying over and diving quickly to the ground like torpedoes! That isn’t even the best part... The incredibly friendly towns people sharing there smiles back and forth toward each other. People on this trail are completely kind to the fullest. Just wait till you make it to the very top and feel the gratification of climbing that mountain to the cross and making sure you put your hand on that cross just to take it all in! Take your friends and family and encourage each other every step of the way! I will stop going on but definitely a must do for everyone!“

“Lots of interconnecting trails. Can also be a lot of climbing. Watch for half buried rocks.“
