“The food is really tasty and comes in generous portions. They have a good craft beer selection that rotates regularly enough so you can try something new each visit. The real reason we like making this our Sunday spot is to visit Brad! He offers fantastic friendly and attentive service that makes for an awesome time.“

“Stopped in on my last night in Boise with 2 co-workers, and it was a great decision. Huge selection of beers on draft, but the star is the food. Highly recommend each of the lollipop chicken, mini baked potatoes, and smoked drumsticks. Friendly service and good music made this a highlight of my stay. If I'm ever back in Boise, I'll definitely return to Matlack's.“

“WOW!! This place is a dream I haven't had but came true before I did. If they menu doesn't impress you, the flavor will! I travel and the bar tender Kav remembered me from the week before as a first timer, and recommended the perfect beer for my taste, even though the beer before was substituted for another. This place is a gem and LOCAL. Do yourself a favor....“

“Amazing food!!! I can't recommend this place strongly enough. The mini potatoes and chicken drumsticks are incredible! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable on the menus, and drinks.“

“Went there late tonight! Food was amazing and the service was phenomenal!! We are from out of town and we will definitely be back for the food and cold beverages! Thank you to the servers and cook! Didnt expect such great food from a quiet little place across from our hotel.“
