“This place is delightfully delicious! This was my second time here and this food superseded our expectations. We ordered the lamb shawarma which was perfectly seasoned and it came with hummus (which my husband said was the best he has ever had!) They brought bread and it was light, airy, and tasted great with everything, my husband liked dipping it in lentil soup!“

“I love shopping at Ishtar Halal Market! The store is always clean, well-organized, and offers a great selection of high-quality products. The staff is friendly and helpful, always willing to answer questions and provide recommendations. I especially appreciate the variety of fresh meats and authentic Middle Eastern products that are hard to find elsewhere. Prices are reasonable, and the quality is consistently excellent. Whether you’re looking for spices, fresh produce, or specialty items, Ishtar has it all. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great halal market!“

“Having lived and traveled in the Middle East, I can tell you that this cuisine is the real deal. Now, if I could only get them to open a place where we live in Western Washington. Oh…also the best baklava this side of Damascus!“

“I can only speak to the turkish coffee and pastries which were delicious. This was a nice spot to pop into after leaving the antique mall in the plaza. The staff was delightful and happy we were there even just to have a snack. The market had a lot of items and menu looked like nice variety of dishes.“

“We came in with six people and ordered the family platter, lentil soup, fries and humus. Fries were hot and crisp with sumac sprinkled on it. Yummy. The hummus had their homemade bread and was addictive. Mu kids are a bit picky but loved their lentil soup. They dipped in the leftover bread from the hummus. The platter was terrific.“
