Hilton Garden Inn Boise Downtown

“I was in Boise for work, and the job had us staying at the Garden Inn. Straight off the bat, the reception folks (I remember Kat by name) were very friendly and welcoming. Alongside the reception counter is a little convenience store area with a very diverse set of items for purchase... impressively diverse! The size of the rooms was quite comfortable and the mattress on the queen bed was really nice. There were two beds in the room with a total of 8 pillows, out of which maybe two were usable of you wanted any form of cushioning. My room was facing the street, and the sound isolation left much to be desired. The shower had very nice hot water, though the dial was a little finicky. Breakfast even at $8.50 was overpriced for what you get, but one of the biggest disappointments was when we first got to the hotel they had this hot chocolate in the hotel that we really enjoyed and complimented then on, by the second day it was gone. Overall, a mediocre night sleep.“

“The room was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had the breakfast every day we stayed. I had read the reviews that said it was really good and it was. Our server was named Nancy and she was super nice. Very helpful and genuine. It made us feel like we were having breakfast in her home. Definately recommend!“

“This hotel is in a great location to downtown Boise. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Just to name a few, Cody at the front desk, Nancy and Derek in the restaurant, Olivia at the bar. My room was located on the street side, but you couldn't even hear the traffic! Everything was very clean and shiny. The room was very comfortable with everything you needed. There is also a laundry you can use for longer stays, iron and board, hair dryer.I highly recommend this hotel!!! My only problem was that the pool was a bit on the cool side. I know I'll be staying there on my next trip to Boise!!“

“Great clean place, excellent welcoming staff. Nancy served my wife and me breakfast and she was what all customer service people should aspire to be. She is very kind, personable and provided excellent service. I will be staying here next time I'm in Boise.“

“My room smelled like a chemical dump. The amount of chemicals used was so overwhelming, I woke up at 4 a.m. with a splitting headache because of the chemicals. I’ve never packed up and left a room but I couldn’t stay in the room any longer. When I arrived at the front desk, the “hospitality” person was completely lacking in sympathy. I was told the hotel was completely booked (even through I overheard him tell the person he was training that there had been a no show). When I asked if he could help me get rebooked into another @hilton property he just stood there and said nothing. Only when his trainee appealed on my behalf did he try to come up with a solution that required me to sit in the lobby for an hour trying to function on three hours of sleep. I expect more from Hilton.“
