“This a true gem of a ski shop. Mom and pop to it's core with an amazing team. I can't stress this enough. "The don't sell boots, they sell fit!" A couple years ago I had my dad come down to get some new boots and insoles fitted. My dad was very happy. Sadly at the end of his last season his boots he purchased had a defect. I reached out to Dan and they got new boots sent in and refitted no questions asked for the issue. If you want to have the best fit and advice on new skis. Go nowhere else in Boise.“

“Mixed results. Last season I took my board for a tune up here. It was not ready on the day I was told to pick it up. The reason that was offered was the machine broke down. Understandable. But it would be great if I got a phone call or a message telling me that so I would no have to waste my time. Why else are you asking me to give you my phone number? But the work was great so I went back this year. The price for a snowboard tune had gone up. But not on the website, just on the chalkboard in the store. The old number had been erased and a new price had been written in place. Had I saw this on the website, I would have gone somewhere else. Not an honest way to do business. I was already there and had errands to run so I decided to eat it and get it done anyway. This time the board was "ready" on the promised day, but there were chunks of wax still stuck under the base. You need to scrape that off, my friend. Assuming that the customer would not notice it is an insult. So another round of standing around wasting my time waiting until the job was complete. Jacked up price, shoddy workmanship, incorrect info on the website; nice to meet you, the pleasure was all yours.“

“Wow! Josh at the ski rental shop blew me away today. I had rented skis for my 4-year-old who by the time I got to the slopes was burning up with a fever. We were all disappointed, but we knew we had to bring the skis back and get him some rest. I returned the skis not expecting any sympathy, but Josh initiated an offer for a refund without me saying a word and asked his boss for me. His boss came out saying "let's see if we can't make your day a little bit better". Such a decent and sweet gesture. These guys have my business for life whenever I come Skiing to Boise. Above and beyond service if you ask me.“

“Sales staff and selection is great. When it comes to ski service I get frustrated. Always trying to push services on you and talk to you like you were born yesterday. At the end of the day though they do good work.“
