“On May 8, 2020 I arrived at the Pioneer Inn Condos to check in for a one week stay, at 530pm. Upon arrival I found the owners son staying in the unit, stating he was quarantining. I called Vacasa, and the folks on staff found me another unit to stay in, so I gratefully did not have to drive down the mountain and find another place to stay with no notice. At issue, and the reason for the desperately poor rating is that the unit they booked me into was vastly inferior in terms of accommodations and view vs what I paid for per the terms of my initial reservations. Since check out on May 15, I’ve been working in good faith seeking repayment of 25% of my booking fees, and was just told today that my request was denied. Be prepared for the old bait and switch if you use this company. Good thing I booked on a credit card, I’ll now dispute the entire amount instead of the 25% credit I had initially sought.“

“Location was central to activities in the city, it was just like being at home with all the amenities. Great areas to hike and a nice little trail by the house. The reservation process was so easy, even when I had to make changes. Would definitely recommend Vacasa, it was a great visit.“

“Superior Customer Service goes a long ways in my book, I recently contacted directly to ask about waiving a fee ($20) for a hot tube. Since I have no plans of using it, with out hesitation the immediate response was "mmmmhmm no, the hot tub comes with the cabin you have to pay for it" as if, I am not aware the hot tube is included. Loosing my business over $20 dollars. I will not be renting or recommending Vacasa to any Idahoans, relatives, Travelers, Customers..“

“We stayed at the Sparrow Suite in the Fowler building. This apartment was wonderfully appointed, clean and spacious. Its downtown location made it ideal for walking to lots of places. Would definitely stay here again.“
