“We had only 1 day to explore Boise and thought that a bike tour would give us a good overview of the city and a little exercise. Boise Bicycle Tours far exceeded our expectations! Don was incredibly responsive in making the arrangements and he thought of every detail- like texting us a photo of the map for our meeting location! He made sure our bikes were comfortable and tailored our experience to our interests. We learned a ton of interesting information about the history of Boise. His descriptions and stories brought meaning to each stop we made. Don is a passionate ambassador for this beautiful city. Loved everything about our tour!“

“My husband and I took Don’s tour in October. I’m SO glad we did!! Don was fantastic! Nice, accommodating and his love of the city comes across in his delivery of information. We had a wonderful time and learned so much local history. I had no idea how incredibly beautiful Boise is and just how much outdoor space there is for everyone to enjoy. If you are visiting and only see downtown, you are missing the city’s greatest gems. The bike tour was a great way to experience the natural beauty of Boise! I would 100% recommend Don’s Boise Bicycle Tour.“

“The highlight of my trip! Absolutely recommend! Don was fantastic in planning and coordinating. As a planner I absolutely appreciated the upfront information about what to expect and prep for. The tour was a delight! I was grateful he was willing to take a solo rider. He was informative, interesting, and personable. Loved the ride and the company. Thanks Don!“

“Boise Bicycle Tours – A Fantastic Introduction to the City This was our first visit to Boise, and my wife Susan and I couldn’t think of a better way to get familiar with the city than a bike tour. After reading so many positive reviews, we decided to book with Boise Bicycle Tours — and it was absolutely worth it. Our guide was Don, the owner himself. From the moment we met, Don was thoughtful, patient, and professional. He set clear expectations for the ride, offering us water, helmets or sun hats, and the bikes were quiet, comfortable, and easy to handle. The tour itself was a perfect balance of riding and learning. Don led us through several of Boise’s neighborhoods, sharing interesting stories and local insights along the way. What really stood out was how, during breaks, Don would pull out his iPad and show us historical images and background on some of Boise’s most fascinating early characters. It added a layer of depth you just wouldn’t get on your own. Don is incredibly personable, and it’s obvious he loves his adopted city. His passion for Boise is contagious, and he’s full of thoughtful recommendations on places to eat, visit, and explore further. By the end of the tour, we felt like we had a real sense of Boise — its history, its neighborhoods, and its personality. We learned so much in just the right amount of time, without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. If you’re visiting Boise, I’d highly recommend booking your tour early in your trip. It’s a great way to get your bearings and truly appreciate what the city has to offer.“

“This was an amazing tour! Shawn, our guide, is a lifetime resident of Boise so has lots of stories, history and you can feel his passion about his city. The ride was easy - mostly flat with a few minor grades but at 60 and not perfectly fit I had no problem going the 8 miles. We called Shawn in the morning and he was willing to take just my husband and I out - he even added an additional stop at BSU for us to see Smurf stadium. Highly recommend this“
