Reviews

“My family loves coming to Big Al’s! The wait for lanes can be a bit long on Friday and Saturday nights, but that’s to be expected. When we have to wait we just sit and grab a drink, and none of us mind because we love the service. All the bar staff we’ve interacted with are absolutely amazing! Adam makes an excellent drink and always so personable and cheerful! When I’m not sure what to get Adam, Megan, or any of the other bartenders are always happy to give suggestions and make sure I’m happy with what I get. Without a doubt, the people are what keep us coming back time and again“

“Bartenders are pretty nice. Try the steak bites! If you play leagues, watch out for novices who don't know decorum. That's to be expected to some degree anyway. Overall nice place for sure! Huge arcade upstairs. Cool looking sports bar/restaurant reminiscent of Vegas casino hotel sports book bar. There's also a VIP lounge upstairs and a neat patio outside with a walk up bar in the warm weather.“

“The service and food is very poor.“

“What an unpleasant experience, where to even start? How about as soon as we walk in the door, I have to greet the teenager working the front, because she doesn't know how to properly greet her guests. They all have an attitude like they absolutely abhor working at Big Al's. We came to bring the kids for bowling and video games, but one out of three arcade machines seem to be out of service. We tried to start with bowling but were told upon our 9pm arrival that it would be a 3 hour wait (bringing us to closing time before we could get on a lane). I spotted 9 empty bowling lanes (yes, I counted, because I've experienced this from the Big Al's bowling counter before). It seems like they tell you all the lanes are going to be full so that all lanes are cleared out an hour before close; feels like the employees expect to be heading out the door ten minutes before closing time, and this was on a Friday night. We decided to get some drinks at the bar while we waited, completely over priced, $10 a beer. An hour and a half later they finally call us to bowl, there were only four or five other lanes being used by the time we started to bowl our one game. Overpriced. Come 11.30pm, the kid go upstairs to trade in their tickets. We finish our beers and I bring the glasses downstairs to the bar. This is what finally pushed me over the edge, the service (or lack there of) from the bartender with all the metal in her face, completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and her one female counterpart was not much better, all attitude. The gentlemen behind the bar was the only one displaying professionalism. I will never bring the kids back here. Spend your money elsewhere!“

“For starters I'm not one to leave a bad review. Would give less stars if possible. Took forever to get our food. It was cold when we got it. Our appetizers came after dinner. Didn't give us napkins or silverware. When they brought the food we asked for them and they told us we had to go stand in line and place an order for them. By the time we got them our food was really cold, but after sitting there for 2 hours it would be. Had to stand in line again to get boxes for the cold food that cost us $120 plus a tip...and a decent tip, which that is another issue. The only thing we didn't have to do ourselves was cook it and bring it to the table. (Unless you count reheating it when we got home). I guess its safe to say it was a horrible experience. My husband said he will NEVER go back.“
