Boise is Soaring

Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic Heads to the Skies

Look up each morning between August 30 and September 3 to see numerous colorful hot air balloons dotting the Boise skyline. Held every Labor Day weekend at Ann Morrison Park, the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic  features different activities daily, along with live music and food vendors.

Balloon launches typically start at 7:15 a.m. and last as late as 9 a.m. With free tethered rides for kids on August 30, a chance to meet aeronauts each morning and a one-of-a-kind Nite Glow spectacular on September 1, this iconic event is one you won’t want to miss. Spectators are encouraged to dress for the weather, bring lawn chairs and leave dogs and drones at home.
