“I love this brewery! I haven’t had a bad beer off the menu, and I used to hate IPAs until I tried the ones they serve here. Mindy is a fun and fabulous bartender, and so is the rest of the crew! The building used to be a little old fire station. Now where the fire engines used to be is where they have the tanks where they brew the beer. It’s a great friendly little brewery with so much to love! If you become a member you can roll a dice and get a discount too!“

“My wife and I travel across the country often and we try to find independent breweries to support. What a fantastic experience! Our dog (Tater) was welcomed on the patio and they made an IPA with TATERS! We are also potato farmers, so obviously we were excited to try this IPA. Beth was so welcoming and I cannot recommend this brewery more. We are on our way home (Mt Hood, OR) but will definitely be back.“

“Great brewery. Lots of local neighborhood locals. 16 taps, including cider, wine, and a Euro tap. Had the Idaho Potato Ale, the flagship beer. Not to hoppy, really full body, refreshing, since it’s 98’ today. Really warm welcoming atmosphere , will be back!“

“This place is LEGIT! Beth (owner) is so friendly and even took us on a tour of the brewery. I am in awe of how Bear Island Brewery came to be…hard work, dedication, and perseverance led to the development of some damn good beer. Come to this brewery. Now. You won’t regret it!“
