“Visited House of the Little Pig a few days ago and was genuinely impressed. The restaurant's interior is beautiful—warm lighting, thoughtful decor, and big windows that let in plenty of light. We opted to sit out on the patio, which overlooks a lush greenbelt and pond; the view made our evening feel extra special. We ordered a handful of dishes to share, and everything was well seasoned and flavorful. The family-style setup is fun, but I will say the portions are on the smaller side. For three people, Riley (our fantastic server) recommended 5 to 8 plates, which was spot on for a satisfying meal. Riley was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept things running smoothly all night. The whole place was spotless, including the bathrooms, and the vibe was relaxed yet lively. It’s the kind of spot where you want to linger a little longer, especially if you can snag a patio table. Overall, a top-notch experience—would absolutely return, just keep in mind you'll want to order a few extra dishes if you’re hungry!“

“The BEST restaurant in Boise. The Dry aged tbone steak was out of this world, but the restaurant also has porterhouse and new york cuts available. I got to pick the exact cut of steak I wanted to have that evening because they have this beautiful cabinet/fridge where their steaks are resting. Service is incredible - the staff will take care of you, and the atmosphere is very peaceful and calming. We were sat at a table by the kitchen and it was SO cool seeing/smelling everything that was prepared. 11/10 so excited to come back and try more of the menu“

“Our experience here was absolutely incredible. Our waiter, Ryan explained everything wonderfully, since it was our first time here. The food came very fast, and was presented very nicely. They were very flexible with food allergies and had substitutions for almost everything. We ordered the duck and the fettuccine, which were amazingly flavorful and tasty. The portions were perfect, especially since we ordered two entrees to share. We also ordered dessert, which was wonderful as well. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for its amazing food and service and we are glad that there are more restaurants opened in this area!“

“House of the little pig is a mid-high end restaurant with food served in a combined style of new American and Mediterranean. The food is innovative and delicious with high qualities, the staff may tell you it’s in family sharing style and served in large portions but it really depends on individual dishes. The indoor vibe is modern, stylish and cozy, but a little bit tight for the seating. The staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive. The only issue I had was, the profiterole was stuffed with alcoholic whipped cream but it was not indicated on the menu, neither was reminded by the staff. I don’t drink for preference reason but there are people who don’t drink for healthy or religious reasons and that’s not good for them, also there will be underage drinking issues too. The staff did sincerely apologized after I found out, so it was not all bad. I still recommend people to come here and give it a try.“

“An incredible culinary experience from start to finish! Because it was our first time and we couldn't decide (menu was both fantastic and somewhat mysterious because we heard portions were small), we let our server choose the dishes for our party of four. He suggested eight small, shareable dishes. The surprise element was part of the fun, and every single dish was an advendure in our mouths each was so packed with flavor. Presentation was nice. Our server also nailed the wine pairing - which paired well with the two entrees, one of which was the Little Pig. For dessert, we tried the made-in-house soft serve with fennel dusted sea salt & olive oil - OMG!!! I'm not a huge ice cream person but I could eat this all day. Creamy, great vanilla flavor. The only slight downside was the timing of the dishes. Because our server placed our entire order all at once, they arrived one right after another, which felt somewhat rushed. At one point, we had four plates on the table, two untouched, which made things a little crowded. Next time, we won't do be doing that. Even so, the excellent food & the atmosphere made it memorable and we will definitely be back to try out the other things on the menu.“
