New Boise Nonstop Flight + Fall Festivals

Now Boarding: Boise to Ontario, CA ✈️☀️🌴

Starting January 7, 2026, travelers can take advantage of new nonstop flights connecting Boise and Ontario, California. It will be easier than ever to travel between the Treasure Valley and Southern California with daily service year-round. This makes four LA-area airports with direct hops between Idaho’s capital, along with LAX, Burbank and Orange County. 

Alaska Airlines also resumes its seasonal daily service between Bozeman, Montana and Boise running October 5, 2025 through April 21, 2026. Beginning May 13, 2026, the route returns for daily summer service. The Boise Airport currently offers flights to 26 nonstop destinations in the U.S., with connecting flights to over 350 cities worldwide.

Fall into Fun at a Local Festival 🍂🍺🎨

Celebrate the transition from summer to fall in Boise with the arts, food, culture and more!

  • Art in the Park (September 5-7) – This free open-air festival spotlights over 240 artists, along with food, live music, entertainment and hands-on activities for kids in Julia Davis Park.
  • Boise Pride Festival (September 6-7) – Boise Pride brings together members of the community to celebrate unity, diversity and the unique spirit and culture of the LGBTQ+ community. New location in Ann Morrison Park. 



  • Hyde Park Street Fair (September 12-14) – Boise’s most unique arts and music festival welcomes participants and vendors to Camel’s Back Park in the historic North End neighborhood.
  • Idaho Shakespeare Festival (September 1-28) – Enjoy the last month of performances in the beautiful open air theater overlooking the Boise Foothills. September’s show is Peter and the Starcatcher
  • Farmstead Corn Maze and Pumpkin Festival (Begins Sept. 13) – Get lost in this year’s themed corn maze or choose from the many quintessential fall activities and goodies.   
  • Old Boise Oktoberfest (September 13)Head to 6th and Grove to enjoy this event packed with live music, delicious food and authentic German Biers.
  • Boise Entrepreneurial Week (September 29-October 3) – hosted at JUMP, BEW is the largest entrepreneurial event in Idaho & one of the largest in the west. High-energy and community powered.
  • Boise Film Festival (October 2-5) – BFF is a 4-day celebration of independent cinema that connects filmmakers, industry veterans and audiences through screenings, panels, and master classes.
  • Idaho CiderFest (October 4th ) – 3rd Annual Idaho CiderFest, Downtown Games, food vendors and local cider vendors.
  • Taste of Downtown (end of October) – Incredibly popular promotion that brings together an estimated 50,000 people downtown throughout the weekend.
