Reviews
“The route I took I got from a book about different trails in the Boise area. Started at the trailhead that's across the street from the golf course, and did a loop that was about 2 miles in distance. Surprisingly pretty views for a trail so close to a city, so if you're looking for something scenic and on the shorter side, I very much recommend it. Of course, you can opt for longer, too! A good hike either way.“

“I had a great experience. Be warned if you're out of shape like me, the full 14 tram trailhead is intense and steep. However, there are plenty of spots to stop and rest. Saw a few people quit at the halfway point. Now that I've got the bad out of the way... the views are amazing and worth the effort! I wish I took this trail prior to all the housing development! It's hard to describe the trail as it branches in a few different ways. Calling it a loop isn't quite right.“

“It's a pretty great trial, there is lots of parking to go there, trail isn't too steep and had some lovely views of the area“

“Great practice hike for our 50 mile excursion this summer. The middle section is steep enough that we had to pause and rest a few times. I liked that in the morning we were still in the shade for a good while. And all the other hikers were super friendly.“
