Winter Fantasy: Chamber Works for Flute, Oboe, Trumpet and Piano
Tree City Chamber Players presents “Winter Fantasy," chamber works for flute, oboe, trumpet and piano, featuring trumpetist and Boise State Professor Dr. Derek Ganong. Works will include Eric Ewazen’s Quartet from the Heartland, Andre Rubtsov’s ‘Peter Pan Fantasy’ for Flute, Trumpet and Piano, Benjamin Britten’s 6 Metamorphoses, Georg Philipp Telemann’s Concerto for Flute, Oboe, Trumpet and Piano, and more.
Two Boise performances: Saturday January 11, 3PM, at Red Rock Christian Church (1124 S. Roosevelt St.) and Sunday January 12, 3PM, at Southminster Presbyterian Church (6500 W. Overland Rd.)
Donations are welcome at the door. Suggested donations: $25/adult, $15 senior/student, children under 12 are free.
We will be donating 10% of proceeds from these concerts to Ride for Joy, an organization that provides equine-assisted services for children and adults with disabilities in southwestern Idaho.
