Influenced by the beauty of the state of Idaho and time spent in the mountains nearby, Jay has adopted a unique singer songwriter style that lives somewhere on the borders of folk, classic country, and indie rock. As a former filmmaker and lover of storytelling, most of his writing focuses on telling the stories of ordinary life, hard moments, and the lifestyle of the American west.
