The First Annual Boise Film Fest
We are a four-day festival Thur Oct 10- Sunday the 13th. We launch at the Egyptian and then spend three days at the flicks screening docs and narrative shorts and features. We accept until August 31st short films-documentary, narrative and animation, and features- narrative and docs. We have masterclasses with producer Mark Ciardi (Secretariat, Miracle) and CSI’s creator Anthony Zuiker and a gala with host Jon Dorenbos (America’s Got Talent, Philadelphia Eagles). We open with a throwback film on Thursday, this year it is the 20th-anniversary showing of “MIRACLE” about the 1980 US Men’s Olympic hockey team beating the Russians at Lake Placid.
