Straight to the Source
Showcasing research using electron microscope images of tiny mineral grains from Antarctica, this exhibit will feature visual research, drawings, and other teaching materials, allowing broad audiences to learn about climatic forces and large-scale processes by observing these microscopic grains. Funded by a National Science Foundation, Straight to the Source, a collaboration of Dr. Anna Bergstrom, assistant professor in Geosciences, and Ruth Heindel of Kenyon College, who uses visual thinking techniques in drawing as part of her research, brings a blending of science and art to the Student Union and its visitors. Special thanks to team members at The Ohio State for their curatorial design.
