The information included shows varying types of stimuli (audio, visual or tactile) and uses color coding to indicate the level of stimulation that may be present in each section of our facility. Please be aware that at high traffic times, activity levels and therefore stimuli all around the Center tend to be heightened. These kits include noise-reducing headphones, sunglasses and various fidget toys to support visitors during their time at the Discovery Center of Idaho. Visitors must temporarily deposit an identification card at the front desk to check out a Sensory Kit, and will receive it back upon returning the kit.
