Festive Fireside Winter Wine Weekend Huston Merlot/Malbec Release Party Date: Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 12-5 pm Production Facility Beat the Winter Blues at Huston Vineyards as we celebrate the release of our 2022 Merlot/Malbec Blend.  Be the first to try our new Blend alongside our Futures Club members that pre-purchased the wine in November of 2023.  These two varietals grow incredibly well in Idaho and together it is a match made in heaven.  This blend opens with juicy blackberry and ripe black cherry. Subtle notes of cracked black pepper and cool mint add complexity and depth.  The vibrant dark fruit flavors balance seamlessly with bright, fresh acidity and integrated tannins for a velvety texture.  The lingering finish brings waves of black cherry and oak spice. We’re building a fire outside at the wine glass fire pit but we will have plenty of fun inside as well.  All guests will have an opportunity to do a tasting and enjoy wines by the glass and bottle.  Douglas Cameron will be singing his soulful songs from 1-4 pm and The Hood Food Truck on-site with amazing burgers and fries.
