ABOUT THE BAND:
In the year of our lord 2024, writer and troubador Jonah Svihus tumbled down a mine shaft in the remote wilderness of Idaho. The fall was not fatal, but he discovered something astonishing—an old balladeer had built a network of tunnels that moved between both time and space, spanning continents and centuries. The balladeer’s name was Connor Jay Liess.
Among the old timber lagging and the sulfurous primordial blood of mountains, the two newly minted miners mapped a frontier soundscape that straddles histories, encountering gunslinging bears, firebrand madames, swaggering woodsmen, rattlesnake outlaws, and other colorful characters. The rich, batholithic ore they haul to the surface across time are the songs you hear. This is Peg Leg Annies.
