Idaho Renaissance Faire
The Idaho Renaissance Faire is an annual family festival held at Expo Idaho’s Fairgrounds at 5610 Glenwood Street in Boise, Idaho. https://idahorenfair.org/2024-idaho-ren-faire
If you’ve ever experienced a Renaissance Faire, you will already know that people often choose to come in costume (some very elaborate) and enjoy the many booths selling everything from leatherwork, handcrafted swords and jewelry, dragons and fairies, costuming, and all manner of foods, beverages, games and crystals. The Court (Ren King, Ren Queen and attendants) mingles with the crowd. There are armored combat sword-fighting presentations, jugglers, whip masters, storytellers, blacksmiths, mermaids, stockades, and more. Did I mention period music and dance? This year there will be actual jousting matches on horseback at which to marvel, too! And there are many, many things to entertain the kids.
September 28-29 AND October 5-6
Hours: Saturday Faire opens at 10:00 AM and closes at 7:00 PM
Sunday Faire opens at 10:00 AM and closes at 5:00 PM
Admission is $10 per person. Anyone under the age of nine is free.
