About Mary Arnold:
As a western conservation artist and expressionistic/Fauvist painter, Mary paints in bright colors, not tied to representational colors in nature. Living where the high desert meets the mountains, she is passionate about the west, conservation, balanced land stewardship and animals, both domestic and wildlife. Through her art she explores the connection of habitat and the increasing pressures of climate change and shared land use on the success and survival of species. Mary seeks to understand our shared human values and the beliefs and norms that prompt us to protect our wildlife and wildplaces.
