This is the LAST First Friday Art & Studio Stroll until next Spring! We are excited to host artist Brea Gilchrist in our Barrel Cove from 5:30-8:30pm. Joker's BBQ Food Truck will be open 4-8pm. ————————- Brea creates anatomical imagery in a larger than textbook scale with alternate angles compared to the traditional medical visuals. These basic structures of the human body are shared amongst artists and viewers: regardless of age, culture or status. While creating her work, Brea is rendering concepts of the human anatomy to be more approachable to any viewer, and for these depictions to be recognized as shared features among humans. ——————— About First Friday Art & Studio Stroll: Garden City’s Surel L. Come to our neighborhood on the river as much as you can, but especially during our First Friday Art & Studio Stroll. You’ll find many locations open during the event, including artist studios, restaurants, and businesses featuring art events. In addition, there will be special events at many locations, including exhibits, readings, and performances.
