Step into the shoes of an Idaho gold miner and try your luck at taking home some “gold” through our hands-on gold panning activity at Family Second Saturday on July 12^th from 12-3PM. Head inside and explore a variety of rocks and fossils with our guests from the Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology. Finish off your visit with a museum gallery scavenger hunt! All ages are welcome, and the event is free with Museum admission! This is an ongoing event every second Saturday of the month. Purchase admission in advance. Walk-ups will be accommodated.
