City Steps: Remembering Chinatown – Boise’s Vanished Neighborhood is a guided tour exploring the role Chinese Americans played in shaping the Boise's identity.
Learn about Boise’s Chinese history from the 1860s through the 1970s with highlights that include contributions to Boise’s built environment, economy, and community.
Each 90-minute guided tour begins and ends at Boise City Hall Plaza (150 N Capitol Blvd).
Each tour covers 1.5 miles. Space is limited to 15 participants per tour. Cost is $10 for residents and $15 for non-residents. Pay What You Can Tour is June 6.

*No tour on Saturday, May 23 in commemoration of Memorial Day weekend.
What should I bring?
This is a guided walking tour; participants are advised to wear appropriate shoes and bring along a water bottle.
All tours will start promptly at the time indicated on your reservation. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate late arrivals, so please plan accordingly.
