Music Policy Forum brings its annual conference to the mountain west.

Cascadia Music Summit 2023

A one-day music policy conference bringing together music advocates, artists, policy makers, and other leading music stakeholders around creating a more interconnected and vibrant Pacific Northwest music corridor.

Music Policy Forum brings its annual conference to the mountain west, partnering with Music Idaho, Boise State University and the City of Boise to present the Cascadia Music Summit. Spend the day examining how multi-jurisdictional partnerships can lead to the development and implementation of meaningful, sustainable, collaborative infrastructure for musicians and members of the music community. Why Boise? A thriving music and cultural scene has been a big part of the community for a long time. Boise has been a driver of the Cascadia Music Corridor, a long-gestating strategy to build collective music infrastructure throughout Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon and Idaho. This concept has been in the works for several years and you will spend the day digging in and developing strategies that could serve as a roadmap for similar partnerships across North America.

Audience members can join us live in-person at the historic Egyptian Theatre in downtown Boise or participate virtually through our livestream. The conference will be archived at www.musicpolicyforum.org.
