Bad Indian is an all-Native American showcase featured on Netflix is a Joke Fest here for one night only at Boise's newest old comedy club: Liquid Laughs Underground ABOUT THE SHOW Denver-Based comedian, writer, and actor Joshua Emerson (Dine’) always knew the best comedy was Native: “Growing up, the funniest people in life were all Indigenous.” However, when he started pursuing comedy as a career, they were nowhere to be found. Joshua is bridging that gap with Bad Indian, a Native American showcase featuring the best (and plentiful!) Indigenous comedy talent from all over Turtle Island. Audiences nationwide—including Netflix is a Joke Fest and SF Sketchfest—have embraced this message through the show’s singular blend of perspectives that are at once uniquely specific, deeply universal, and unbelievably hilarious. Bad Indian proves that if the equation for comedy is tragedy + time, then Native comedians have no business setting foot off stage. SHOW DETAILS Doors open at 7pm, show at 8pm Liquid Laughs Underground is located in the Solid Cellar beneath Liquid & Solid (405 S 8th St). If it feels like you're walking toward a bathroom, you're probably headed in the right direction. Please arrive early to get settled. *Two item minimum* We require a two-item minimum to support the venue and performers, but don’t worry—food and non-alcoholic drinks count too. Grab a bite, sip a drink, and enjoy the show!
