Presented by Winter Wildlands Alliance, the annual Backcountry Film Festival celebrates the power and spirit of humans in winter. Touring 100+ cities worldwide, the festival brings adventure, travel, ski culture, ice, pain, laughter, and, of course, DEEP POWDER to the screen. Join us for the world premiere at Treefort Music Hall in Boise, ID. All ages welcome! Expect films, raffle giveaways, festival games, a costume contest, drinks, pizza, live music from The Knickerbocker Band, and more! Help us celebrate 20 years by wearing your best retro skiwear for a chance to win big in the costume contest. Plus, bring winter gear for our coat drive. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, supporting Winter Wildlands Alliance’s work to inspire and empower people to protect America’s wild snowscapes.
