Join the Idaho Center for the Book at Albertsons Library for a discussion and book signing with author Beth Piatote. The Nez Perce writer, scholar and language activist will read selections, and discuss her acclaimed mixed-genre short story collection, “The Beadworkers: Stories,” which explores contemporary Native American life in Idaho and the Northwest. Piatote will be joined by CMarie Furhman (Idaho Writer in Residence, 2021-2023), and the presentation will be followed by a book-signing. The Beadworkers will be available for purchase from Rediscovered Books at the event.
