Come have a drink at Mad Swede Downtown while the artistic director of The Boise Bard Players talks to you about the Mad Bard himself, William Shakespeare. Join us to learn about how Shakespeare still affects popular culture today, and how his works are not for an age, but for all time.

Chris Canfield founded The Boise Bard Players (BBP) in 2018, and has been producing Shakespeare plays around the Treasure Valley since 2014. BBP is a minimalist, non-profit theatre company performing Shakespeare and other classics in unconventional locations like bars, breweries and backyards. Our mission is to make these shows economically and emotionally accessible to all.
