SOMATIC SOUND JOURNEY

featuring Marisa Radha Weppner and Brian Lounderbough

Sunday, February 25th

at TREEFORT MUSIC HALL

$40 adv / $50 door

1pm doors / 1:30pm sound journey

all ages

This experience will honor the body’s need for deep rest, the spiritual need for self-reflection and our collective human need for communion and connection. Radha will open the space with gentle movements and pranayama in order to help you drop more fully into your meditative sound journey. Rooted Vibration’s soundscapes will guide you throughout by weaving a tapestry of healing sounds and frequencies from unique, handcrafted instruments from around the world.

This will be an inherently inward journey where you will be asked to leave your busy life and chattering mind at the door as you give yourself permission to be fully present to open up to and receive the medicine that sound and meditation has to offer. As our minds calm and our hearts open, we allow ourselves to receive the healing vibrations of sound and allow ourselves to be fully present in this moment. No past, nor future. Nothing to do but just be here now.

*Sound is Medicine*

For thousands of years, many different cultures around the world have used sound in one form or another to assist in the process of meditation and healing.

Benefits:

  • Quieting the mind and calming the body due to lowering stress levels
  • Deepening our awareness of the present moment
  • Helping connect us to something greater than ourselves.

This is an ancient practice, with a modern twist. Radha’s guided meditation will merge into Rooted Vibration’s pure and consistent tones of Tibetan Metal and Crystal Singing Bowls, Gongs, Flutes, Chimes, Handpans and a variety of other instruments, taking you on a journey through the beauty, the depth, the potency and the expansiveness that sound has to offer.

What to bring:

  • Yoga Mat, pillow, blankets, and anything else you need to create a comfy space for yourself with an awareness of conserving space for others
  • Wear comfortable, loose fitting, layered clothes
  • Water bottle
  • Optional: Journal, eye shade

What to know:

  • All-levels, ages and abilities warmly welcome
  • Be prepared to lay or sit quietly and mostly still for over an hour
  • Your job is to allow yourself to really relax and open up to receive the Vibrational Medicine. Remember, how deep you go is up to you, so please show up prepared to be fully present.
  • We look forward to welcoming you!

Brian Louderbough ~ Rooted Vibration

Sound Healer ~ Breathwork Facilitator ~ Recording Artist

Brian is a multi-faceted and gifted visionary musical artist who delivers transformative and immersive sound healing ceremonies and workshops. He is based out of Boise, Idaho, where he was born and raised. He has lived, breathed and loved music since the age of 4. Classically trained in piano and orchestral percussion, he spent his formative years on stage playing to large audiences as a touring musician, before honing in on his true calling as sound healer and sacred space holder. He has spent the last 15 years of his musical career focused on his mission of helping the world heal through the power of intentional sound and vibrational medicine.

Brian’s offerings take his listeners deep into their own inner landscape, transporting them to an elevated space of self awareness, inner calm and peaceful presence. He gracefully weaves the angelic sounds of crystal singing bowls, flute and handpan with the deep soul shaking rumbles of ancient Tibetin bowls, gongs and drums. Each sound bath is a unique and transformative experience. An opportunity to slow down, go within, release what is no longer serving and find a sense of deeper connection

Marisa Radha Weppner (Radha) is driven by a desire to understand what it means to be human, the nature of reality and what is God. Her classes aim to create a state of union within oneself for a felt sense of the ineffable. She will help you turn knowledge into wisdom by cultivating an embodied Self and a tangible sense of the deepest Truths of existence.

Radha is the host of the podcast Love, Service, Wisdom, is a 1000 hr Nosara Yoga Master Educator and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner in training.
